Situation –

Last week, you were asked by your manager to prepare for and give a presentation to the new client (Amoeba) on next Monday. He gave you two weeks to prepare because it is an important client and the presentation is also critical for business. But you were busy with other office work and some personal work so you completely forgot about this presentation. It is Friday already, and your manager just sent you the below email –

Hi Shakti,

Just wanted to send a quick reminder about Monday’s presentation.

I hope you are ready! I’m really counting on you for this one.

I’m sure you’re already aware but let me just reemphasize the criticality of this situation; Amoeba’s leadership team has been recently reorganized. The team that was giving us business is now handling a new department. And a completely new team has been assigned to manage our business with them. Our meeting on Monday is with this new team. And we must ensure that we impress them with our presentation otherwise we risk losing business from them. That’s how much this presentation matters! But I trust you, and I’m sure you’ll do a great job.
